Portrait Details
Can I make changes to my order after it's submitted?
Yes! You can make a changes to your order as long as you email us within 1 hour of placing your order. Please send an email to orders@nakonaonthird.com with whatever changes you'd like to make along with your name.
What kind of photo do I need to upload?
Because of the nature and design of our macro (close-up) pet portaits, we have a few tips for a great photo!
1. Choosing a well lit, natural lighting (preferably) area to take the photo will help us when it comes to detail on your pet's illustration.
2. A straight-on, eye-level photo of your pet looking at you showing their head and neck is all we need.
3. Avoiding blurry or dark photos will provide the best outcome! The better quality the photo, the better your illustration will look. Most cell phones today take great photos!

Can I see a proof before it goes to print?
Because our goal is to get your portrait to you as soon as possible, we do not offer proofs of the artwork before going to print. However, if we feel like the photo you submitted will not work the best, we will reach out to you to get a new one!
Do you create portraits of all pets or just dogs?
We focus on dogs, but we love all pets! If you have a horse, a cat, or even a gecko that you'd like us to create a portrait of, we're happy to! Our only request is that you try to follow the Photo Tips for how to submit the best quality photo.
Do you offer portraits with more than one pet?
Due to the design of our portraits, we are only offering one pet per portrait at this time.
What if I don't want any customization?
Looking for a cleaner look? If you would like your portrait to just have your pet's illustration and nothing else, just leave those fill boxes for the name and traits empty when choosing your product.
Returns & Shipping
What are shipping costs?
Shipping costs vary depending on the type and size of the portrait.
Portrait Posters shipping starts at $4.28 USD .
Framed Portraits vary depending on the size. 8x12 and 12x16 Framed Portraits start at $8.49 USD. We offer free US shipping for our 18x24 size.
What are shipping & delivery times?
Typical US delivery time is between 6-9 days.
Delivery time includes us receiving your order, custom design, production and delivery to your doorstep. However, these are estimates and cannot be guaranteed. During the holidays, delivery times can sometimes go up 1-2 days.
Do you accept returns?
Because every pet portrait is completely customized by our design team, we do not accept returns. However, if you receive your portrait and it has been damaged during shipping or has a defect of some sort, please reach out to us at support@nakonaonthird.com so we can have a replacement sent to you.
My portrait was damaged, what do I do?
We strive to make sure you are super happy with your order. If you feel like there was a defect during production or your portrait was somehow damaged during shipping, please email us at support@nakonaonthird.com so we can have a replacement sent to you.
In your email, please include your order #, first & last name, a description of what happened, and a photo of the defect or damage. We will be in touch shortly.
